Who am i?
My name is Hector Kuenzler-Byrt. I grew up in the picturesque fishing village Clovelly, in North Devon (UK). Surrounded by a creative family, I have always loved the arts. Going on to study Animation in Bristol (UWE), I graduated in 2019 with 1st class hons. Since then, I have been working as a freelance Animator, Artist, Writer and Workshop Facilitator. A few of my notable achievements included:
Writing, directing and animating 7 music videos, for the likes of Nubiyan Twist, Moonchild Sanelly, and K.O.G.
Co-creating the web series ‘Scary Stories with Ben & Hector’ for Aardman Animations.
Working on projects for companies, Cisco, Marks and Spencers, and Douwe Egberts.
Over the years I have developed a unique visual style. My preferred material is plasticine, which I use to create animations, paintings and sculptures. I love to explore comedy, horror and surrealism in my work.
